Holy Week
One Brand. One Story. One City.
We’re gathering artists, designers, musicians, writers, and performers to design, create, perform, and help build the Holy Week brand - a citywide week culminating in the Passion Play with Saltmine Theatre Company.
What is Holy Week Wolverhampton?
Holy Week Wolverhampton is a shared city brand uniting churches and creatives to help the city see the story of Jesus - in streets, galleries, schools, and churches - with the Passion Play as the citywide finale.
This is more than one event. It’s about unity, creativity, and hope across Wolverhampton.

Streams of Creativity
These are starting points, not limits.
Bring what’s in your hands and shape how our city experiences Holy Week.

-
Performance & Storytelling
Street theatre, spoken word, dance pieces.
-
Music & Worship
Acoustic sets, original songs.
-
Community & Conversation
Café nights, open mics, creative talks.
-
Prayer & Reflection
Prayer walks, reflective spaces, moments of silence and hope.
-
Youth, Schools & Families
Workshops, school art, family trails, youth performances.
Build the Brand
We’re forming a creative build team to shape the Holy Week Wolverhampton brand - the shared look, voice, and story across the city.
If you’re gifted in design, branding, marketing, comms, film, or project coordination, we’d love to hear from you.
Together we’ll create one identity that every church and creative can use - one look, one feel, one message of unity.

The Passion Play will be a live outdoor performance of the Easter story, led by Saltmine Theatre Company,
right in the heart of Wolverhampton.
It’s the anchor and crescendo of Holy Week a city encounter with the Gospel through theatre, art, and community.
